Spare Car Arts is delighted to announce it’s first Lord of the Rings Poster Design. The work features at it’s heart, the infamous Master Ring much coveted by the Dark Lord Sauron.
The inscription, which only appears when breathed in flame, is all part of the wonderful world created by the author J R R Tolkien. Tolkien, who not only is responsible for writing the Lord of the Rings Trilogy has written such classics such as the The Hobbit.
Lord of the Rings Poster Design
The Ring Appears on a mossy green background inspired by some of the 70’s book cover and the First release Film poster designs. Recreating the ring from scratch took a lot of effort. Choosing the right position and angle of the ‘One Ring’ for the design. Once positioned the real art was creating the inscription. The Ring bears an elvish inscription:
‘Ash nazg thrakatulûk agh burzum-ishi krimpatul. Translated, the words mean:
One ring to rule them all, one ring to find them, One ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them.’
What is the Lord of the Rings Film all about?
The future of civilization rests in the fate of the One Ring, which has been lost for centuries. Powerful forces are unrelenting in their search for it. But fate has placed it in the hands of a young Hobbit named Frodo Baggins (Elijah Wood), who inherits the Ring and steps into legend. A daunting task lies ahead for Frodo when he becomes the Ringbearer – to destroy the One Ring in the fires of Mount Doom where it was forged.
