Spare Car Arts have been working hard to create a new Stranger Things poster based around what’s happening in the new season 2. The poster features a recreation of what the new Shadow Monster will look like.
Stranger Things season 2 plot
The new episodes pick up a year after Eleven and the gang defeated the Demogorgon.
On the outside, Will has settled back into Hawkins life – but as the closing shot of season one showed, he is still haunted by the Upside Down.
The latest trailer sees Will thrown back into the dark parallel universe as the rest of the gang hang out at a video arcade.
Stranger Things season 2: Is Eleven back? What will happen?
“Nothing’s gonna go back to the way that it was, not really,” Jim Hopper says, while a worried Joyce watches her son be examined by a doctor.
“I saw something,” Will cries back at home. “I don’t know what. I felt it, everywhere.”
“Sometimes I feel like I still see her,” a pensive Mike says, before we finally see Eleven, who is trapped in the Upside Down.
Co-creator Ross Duffer has said that the telekinetic teen’s journey this season “is not what people will be expecting”.
“We discovered how incredible Millie Bobby Brown was last season,” he told The Wrap. “So we’re really leaning into her a lot this season, and putting her into some pretty intense places. And she crushed it.”

Season two will go further into the Upside Down, with a cryptic Twitter post hinting that some unexpected characters could find themselves in danger.
“No on is safe from the Upside Down,” wrote the show’s official Twitter page, along with a video of Mike and Nancy’s baby sister Holly.
The trailer also revealed a terrifying, spider-like monster looming over Hawkins.
Co-creator Matt Duffer has said that there could be more than one threat to the town.
“If the Monster is dead, was it a singular monster?” he teased.
“What else could be out there? There’s a lot more mystery there to be solved.”
Netflix’s official plot summary teases: “It’s 1984 and the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana are still reeling from the horrors of the Demogorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab.
“Will Byers has been rescued from the Upside Down but a bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived.”
David Harbour, who played police chief Jim Hopper, teased: “It’s a year later in the story, so there are several things that happened last year, like Will has come back.
“There are certain people in the town that know what happened, and then certain people that don’t know what happened. So there’s a lot of fall out with who knows what.”
What is Stranger Things Season 2 release date?
The show was initially slated for an October 31 release, but now NME can exclusively reveal that the show will be on Netflix on October 27.
How do I watch Stranger Things Season 2?
The show will be uploaded to Netflix on the above date. But if you wanna know exactly how you need to watch it – The Duffer Brothers told Vulture that you adjust your TV set slightly. “The key thing is to turn off anything that says ‘motion,” Matt told Vulture. “’TruMotion.’ ‘Smooth motion.’
